The Shirt Construction Details below, are our standard features at no extra cost to create a custom tailored shirt. We do offer Thick Real Mother of Pearl Buttons as an option, for additional small fee when you order a custom tailored monogrammed shirt from NELSON WADE®.

When you select one of our shirting material swatches for a custom shirt, our process will take you thru the purchase phase. Once you have paid for your item, our second phase will automatically redirect you to our Custom Shirt Construction Details, for you to select your options.

You will get a confirmation copy of your selected Custom Shirt Construction Details. We will also contact you to confirm your shirt dimensions as well as your selected details. We will offer possible other options, that may enhance your fitting or presentation of your Custom Dress Shirt from NELSON WADE®.

Our Custom Shirt Features & Details

A. Single Needle Stitching for our custom shirt sleeves. Our Our sleeve connection to the shirt body has double row stitch. But only one row of stitching is visible for that finer, hand sewn custom tailored appearance. B. Buttons. Extra Thick Real Mother of Pearl Buttons or regular durable plastic shirt buttons are available. Contrasting cross stitch thread color is another option. We provide additional buttons for longer shirt bodies. C. Sleeve cuffs for our custom shirts are hand cut and hand turned. The fully finished two part placket with buttons and buttonhole or double button hole for French Cuffs. D. Shirts Tails are always full in length, so that they don't pop out. E. Pockets for our custom shirts are all hand cut and hand matched to the fabric pattern. F. Shirt Yoke is a two piece shirt yoke, that is top stitched at the front and back of shirt. G. Collars. Our collars for custom shirts are hand cut individually designed to your personal taste.

2 - From center of shoulder to center of shoulder.
3 - Around Chest.
5 - From Bottom of Neck to bottom of front Shirt Tail (or Desired Length).
6 - From Shoulder to end of Cuff.
8 - From center of shoulder to center of shoulder.

Shirt Measurements

7 - From Center of Neck to end of Shoulder.
4 - Around the Waist.
9 - From Top of Shoulder to bottom of front Shirt Tail (or Desired Length).

NOTE - Measure around larger Bi-ceps / Forarms / Wrists, that are larger than average.
